The last couple of weeks have been awesome having Lionel Marie, AnnaLisa and my little French sister Amelie here. We said our good byes and they left this afternoon. It was a little sad but I will see them before long. I am going to team training camp in January, I am really looking forward to it. This last week was awesome.. On Monday I went to “Raisin Woods” the mountain bike park named after me.. A person in Town donated 25bikes to the Boys & Girls Clubs in Dalton/Whitfield County.. All the kids were there, I almost cried when I saw them get off the bus and run to their bikes, the smiles on their faces touched my heart. They road free with joy, “Thank you to whom ever donated the bikes you really touched the lives of many children, you made a difference in their world!!”We need more things like that to help kids, it is a great way for them to escape the hardships of their lives and ride free..

The old Saul is back. My life feels like it is almost back to normal except for a few things. Having my good friends, Lionel, Annalisa and my little French sister Amelie here has been wonderful. I have set for myself a list of goals, some short and some long-term goals. I am proud to say I have already achieved all my immediate goals after my injury. I am a firm believer you can do anything you set you mind too. I have posted some new pictures of the last 2 weeks from Halloween, Lookout Mountain, and the Georgia Aquarium. My life has been full of smiles here lately, something my family and I have not had a lot of for awhile.
Life is beautiful,
Saul

Life is full of surprises, one of my best friends and his family, Lionel Marie, Anna-Lisa Marie and his little angel Amelie are here visiting from France. Lionel was the director for the Credit Agricole espoir team. The
day he offered me a contract to race for the team I crashed into a
cement pole, and he saved my life. We have become very good friends
over the years. It is so nice having them here and showing them the way we live in the USA. I am going to post some pictures here soon.

I am back from France. Visiting France is proof dreams really come true. Seeing all my friends, teammates, and riding all the big mountains was all a dream a few months ago. My trip was wonderful. I am almost that old Saul that everyone knew and loved. the old spark is back in my eyes. I am getting stronger every day. I can say, I feel smart again. I am coming back a better, stronger Saul than before, I am reaching the stars and I am putting them in my pocket. I have posted pictures of my whole trip. From riding the Col de la Madone/Turini/Braus/,visiting Paris for the weekend, team pictures, and being with friends. Life is beautiful dream really come true. Thank you for all your answered prayers.

Here I am in France… I am sorry I have not been writing my blogs but my Internet is not working. While I was in the USA the Internet company was charging me 1,600 Euros a month. About 2000 dollars. My good friend/ banker saw this and canceled the payments right away. I never paid my normal 30 Euros a month so they cut off my service. Everything is going well. It is a dream to be back. I was very emotional to see my friends and even more emotional when I rode the big mountains in the area (Col de la Madonne). I told my Dad to pinch me to make sure all was real. Last week I flew to team pictures with my Mom and Dad.. It was great to see my team; it was like old times again. I got to go ride with the team twice. When I was Riding next to Thor I told him "it was like a dream". I now dream of the day I can race by his side again. To sum up my trip is easy. It has truly been awesome. I do not want to leave my French home, but I know I will be coming back. I guess patience is a virtue, but sometimes I feel like I am pushing patience limits. Thor was Racing Paris-Tours is my Raisin Hell Socks- Go Go Go Dreams Come True, Never quit fighting.
