To help everyone find somewhere to get the Raisin Hell bracelets, I have added a section to the "Links" page listing places and webpages where they can be found (if they aren't sold out already). We will add to these links as more bracelets become available, and more distributors are found. If everyone is sold out, keep trying! An order is underway for more, and they should be here in a week or two. All proceedes from the sale of these braceletes go to the Shepherd Center to aid in Brain and Spinal cord injury rehabilitation and care. Direct donations to the center can be made from their webpage as linked above. |

After 14 hours of travel time Saul is in a rehab hospital resting. Saul is still very weak and has to sleep alot. A lot of you have ask when can you visit Saul? The hospital will not allow visitors at the moment, but as soon as they do, we will let you know. Saul will want to talk. Saul is improving everyday. He eats up a storm and wants to go home. In a few days will be have more information after all the test come in.
Saul is in the ICU unit for now. When Saul is out of the ICU unit we will take the computer to him and let him read all the entries. He is reading and using his cell phone to call Daniela. Thanks again for all your support, love, and prayers.

Hopefully this will be our last report from France. Saul is strong enough to move home and we have started the ball rolling. Saul is improving every day. He is seating, walking with help, eating, and whispering. All the people here in France have been great to us and especially to Saul. Saul still has a long hard road to travel, but we all know he can do it. Thanks to everyone for your support. If you see us, we need a hug.

Today is a good day. We did not tell this before, but Saul was not taken off the respirator earlier, he pulled it out. After 24 hours they had to reinsert it. Yesterday they took it out again and so far Saul does not need it and hopefully he will not need it. Saul is sitting in a chair for short times and talking a little. He told us he does not like it here and he is hungry. Saul is still very confused and will be for a while. The infection in his lungs is a lot better. If he keeps improving with little or no set backs, we are coming home soon. We have a medical air ambulance ready to bring him home. Again, thank you for all the love, support, and prayers.

Saul's doctors did a quick evaluation with him yesterday. It went well. He is waking up, but still needs a lot of sleep. He is aware of what's going on around him. He does use his left and right limbs, his left side a little less, but hopefully that should change with rehab. We will know more when he is fully awake and can be completely evaluated. Because of the coma, he has an infection in his left lung. The doctors are on top of it and that should go away soon. The doctors and nurses here are great. They are taking wonderful care of Saul. Saul wants out of the bed and we are ready to bring him home. We should be headed home when the infection is clear, to a rehab center in Atlanta. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers, they are working.
