Hi everyone, I wanted to give each of you a quick update on the Raisin Hope Ride for 2008. The Ride is scheduled for the weekend of October 4-5 this year. And a new cycling event has been added: There is going to be “A Tour of the Town-Dalton” Criterium to Dalton Georgia! As of now, the Raisin Hope Ride will be staged on Saturday the 4th, once again starting and ending at Heritage Point Park’s Rotary Pavilion and will follow the same basic course as last year through Whitfield and Murray counties to the top of Fort Mountain. The plans call for the Tour of the Town-Dalton to be staged in historic downtown Dalton on Sunday the 5th.
This is going to be a great event and chance of a life time to help give hope to many who have lost it. I look forward seeing everyone at the second annual Raisin hope ride. Lets make this year even bigger!!

I am back from the Moab Skinny Tire festival. I met some of most amazing people. The event consists of a weekend of riding to raise awareness for cancer and cancer research. It was an emotional weekend in one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. These people were true heroes and inspiring to me. They really proved that so much is influenced by how we choose to look at situations. I would like to thank Beth and Mark for the chance to help raise hope for so many people. New pictures are posted from the event.
