Life is good in Salt Lake City. I am making several new friends and I am learning all the new roads and rides. Some of my favorite rides are Little Cottonwood and Big Cottonwood. The riding here is incredible, riding at altitude and being able to ride up to almost 10,000ft is awesome. I am leaving to Colorado Springs Monday to do some testing with my coach Jim Lehman(w/Carmichael training systems). I am so excited. These tests will determine when I will be back racing in the Peloton. Wish me luck. I just begun real training with specific goals and task for each day. No more rides just to see how far I can go, it is time to get serious and down to business. My two boys are doing great. Odee and Moose are just as loving as ever. Aleeza touches my heart like she always does; I love her so much it makes most people sick. Big thanks to Contender bikes for taking care of me. If you interested in the premier bike shop in Salt Lake this is it, http://www.contenderbicycles.com/
Big news...the Raisin Hope ride raised a little over $30,000 for charity. Thank you so much to all the people that participated in the ride and event. Let’s make it even bigger next year! I will post some pictures from Colorado Springs. Thanks for your continued support. –Saul
