Sandy Springs Classic PDF Print
Sunday, 20 May 2007

For the second year Sandy Springs Classic will be held in my honor.  My parents will be there on May 27th with the Raisin Hope Swag.  Proceeds from the race and swag will go to the Raisin Hope Fund, helping organizations like Shepherd Center, Camp Twin Lakes, The Brain Injury Association of Georgia, and more.  Please go race, watch the race, or just say hi to my parents.

I want to thank all the people with Team Cycleworks for this honor, making this race possible, and the continued support.Check it out at: www.northgeorgiacycling.com

Life is good in Salt Lake City.  I am making several new friends and I am learning all the new roads and rides.  Some of my favorite rides are Little Cottonwood and Big Cottonwood. The riding here is incredible, riding at altitude and being able to ride up to almost 10,000ft is awesome.  I am leaving to Colorado Springs Monday to do some testing with my coach Jim Lehman(w/Carmichael training systems).  I am so excited. These tests will determine when I will be back racing in the Peloton. Wish me luck. I just begun real training with specific goals and task for each day. No more rides just to see how far I can go, it is time to get serious and down to business. My two boys are doing great. Odee and Moose are just as loving as ever.  Aleeza touches my heart like she always does; I love her so much it makes most people sick. Big thanks to Contender bikes for taking care of me. If you interested in the premier bike shop in Salt Lake this is it, http://www.contenderbicycles.com/

Big news...the Raisin Hope ride raised a little over $30,000 for charity. Thank you so much to all the people that participated in the ride and event. Let’s make it even bigger next year! I will post some pictures from Colorado Springs.  Thanks for your continued support.  –Saul

I would like to wish a very Happy Mothers day to the best mom in the world.. My mom...I love you very much!!!

Here I am in Salt Lake City Utah PDF Print
Tuesday, 24 April 2007

Here I am in Salt Lake City, Utah.  I am here with the love of my life Aleeza.  This is a huge change for me. I went from being independent in France, then completely dependent in Georgia and now I am back to being independent in a new place again.  I have made several new friends and I am learning a lot awesome new rides.  It is beautiful here. I have Aleeza here and she is a huge help to me.  She keeps me in line and out of trouble.  I have two new very cute and loving sons.  Yes, I am a new father!  Their names are Moose and Odee, they are two rescued cats. Moose is a smoky silver color and Odee is an orange vanilla swirl.  Moose is a slow and gentle creature and Odee is so darn cute and will steal your heart at first sight.  He is a naughty boy and loves to get in trouble.  Yesterday he ate through the cords on my electro stimulator. . . what a good boy!  Got to love them.  I am still adjusting to closing doors behind me so they will not get in trouble and to the feeling of them pouncing on me in the middle of the night.  I can not believe I am saying this, but I am becoming a cat lover.  I really feel like they are part of the family.  Today real training is starting back up.  I am so excited to get the ball rolling.
