Mark Adams from Englewood, Colorado | Signed on: Thu 04 May 2006 07:28:49 AM MST Hey, I'm so happy you're recovering. I had a skull fracture in 2001 and spend 3 nights in ICU. Recovery was slow and hard and every race I've done since then has been a victory. I have a photo on my wall of me finishing Tour of the Gila 7 months after the accident and I know that every picture you have of yourself racing will mean so much to you. I hope you wake every day feeling how much people want you to continue to move forward, and you reading this is a victory you've already won. Congratulations on building a body that had what it takes to survive the accident. You are alive and you will show what living is. |
