I am glad to hear a TDF rider thinks that the St George Tri is a challenge. (It was a beast of a day for your 1st race.)
I am a friend of Zane Morris and I saw you down there but did not get a chance to intoduce myself. I hope Zane can talk you into a ride with us sometime.

I heard about the rough plane ride back.
Damn pilot!

Congrats on your first tri! Sounds like you had fun!
Just finished your book...an excellent read. I especially enjoyed it as I am an avid cyclist and a physical therapist working with people who have had a brain injury. If there is anything we can do here in Houston for the Raisin Hope Foundation, please let me know. My passions for brain injury and cycling are both very strong and I have dreamt about having a benefit ride here in Houston.
Have fun as you prepare for your next tri!

Is it hard to run with your spinal condition? I thought thats why you chose cycling.

Congratulations for your 1st tri. I recently completed my 1st. century and I think I have a good idea how you felt when you crossed the line.

On a side note, I hope Dave Z. is doing better from the crash at the Giro. Whenever you have a chance, please post some update on his condition. I have been checking SlipStream's site since this morning, but I imagine Aleeza probably has more details. I hope he can ride Le Tour.

Hi, Saul. Good to (briefly) meet you at the ride yesterday. A lot of people were talking about you and the foundation long after the ride was over - good work.

(I also got a couple of nice shots of you early in the morning. If you want them, drop me an email address to send them to. You can reach me at blacknell@gmail.com)

Hi, just recovering from a hip operation and have been reading your book. I don't mind saying it put my rehab into perspective and it did really inspire me to work harder with my physio and I can't wait to be back on my bike as soon as possible.

But how did you manage five hours on your rollers??? Fifty mins has finished me off!

Thanks for the motivation!

We at Team Cycleworks p/b HDR are again looking forward again to making a handsome donation to the Raisin Hope Fund with some of the proceeds from our race at John's Creek, GA on Sunday 05/18. I've already contacted your folks and invited them. They said they would be there and selling some Raisin Hope swag. You and your wife would be absolutely welcome as our guests of honor as well.

Take care, Tim
