Hey Saul- I know you'll get back to racing with no problem at all. I know this because I've gotten back on my bike after my brain injury, which was actually a month after yours. And I don't have any problem riding at all! Maybe that bracelet of yours helps me get up hills, you never know! If I can recover this well, I believe you can. I hope to beat you in some future bike race! (I'm just a collegiate racer, right now)

Hi Saul,
Keep on fighting but most of all, keep on smiling!
Whether you can make it again as a pro or not, you'll make something beautiful of your future.
So don't be afraid and go for it, you'll never know what might happen. Remember that everything happens for a reason.
Have a lot of fun in France and don't eat to much of that icecream!

hi Saul,
We met you in a coffee shop the morning of the USPRO race and exchanged photos-- thanks for posting ours! There are people you meet and think "wow, they were really nice". Then there are others that leave you in awe and totally inspired. You are a wonderful person with an infectious energy and zeal. Good luck once you rejoin the pros in Europe.

Saul,
Great to meet you in Greenville (I was the top fundraiser for the P3 ride). I heard this on NPR this morning and wanted to pass the link along to you and everyone who has an interest in battling brain injuries. Sounds promising:

Hey Saul,
I see that you're back in Europe. I just want to say that you've done an amazing job with your recovery. That's the same work ethic that made you the cyclist that you are today. Keep up the awesome work. Can't wait to see you racing and winning again soon.

Hey Raisins,
Didn't get a chance to say bye before you left but wanted to wish you safe travels and a good time across the pond. It is a monumental moment for many of us knowing that you are heading back, if only for a while. It will be your second homecoming since your accident. Enjoy your stay and thanks again for talking to my cross country runners. I have had lots of positive feedback from them and they really enjoyed having you there. Take care and touch base with us when you return.
