Saul,
Have really enjoyed getting to know a little about you by way of Dave Shields. Congrats on getting engaged it is an awesome feeling to find someone really special that you ask to spend your life with. Hope to see you out on the rode down Utah County way. There is some good open rode out here with minimal traffic. Just need to be careful of the 18 wheelers they sometimes think that roadies are bonus points. Enjoy the little ones as they grow up fast,(oh yeah cats - they get fat) happy trails

Hi Saul,
Congrats on your engagement! I found your link thru Dave Shields website. Can't wait to get hold of the book 'Tour De Life' and it amazes me how well you are doing now after the crash & head injury.

Btw, I'm a avid cyclist from Malaysia (you misspelt Malaysia as Mayalisia - Tour de Langkawi) in your Jan 25th, 06 entry.

Train to be the best & I hope one day you'll conquer Tour De France.

All the best!

It was great meeting you and riding with you today! Welcome to the neighborhood and keep up the great work. I'll tell you, I've been following your career and been greatly impressed, since you won the Young Rider Jersey at TdGa and later rode so well at Worlds a year and a half ago. I have been truly inspired by you for the past year now, watching you fight your way back to the top.

It'll be great to ride with you again...

Hi!
I heard through a Care Page that you contacted the family of Skye Barkchat sort of out of the blue. As a fellow bike enthusiast, your story is already a great miracle to me. Seeing that you took the time out for a friend of mine gave me chills and brought a teary smile to my face. Thank you for your support of my friend and thank you for being who you are.

Truly,

Hi Saul..
It was really nice to have met you on my flight #5141 this morning from Chattanooga to Cincinnati...Thanks for the laughs...the flight attendant...
Don't know if the passenger seating in 1A mention to you but I had my 10-speed from high school refurbished, I road it once then PARK it! It scared me so bad...the cliche "once you have ridden a bicycle you never forget" not true!! Because I did!! Anyways it was really great talking to you during the flight. Take care and be safe in your travels and rides....

Saul, I am really glad to see your website and know that you are doing well.

A month ago (March 24) while in a draft line I had a terrible crash, hit my head on the pavement, and also ended up with emergency brain surgery the next day. I have been recovering quickly though and hope to be back on the bike (at least stationary to start) in another month.

Your story has inspired me to stick with it and I appreciate how hard you have worked.

Best of luck,

Chad

Last year, when I first heard about your injury, I was very saddened. I followed your recovery with amazement, and was very happy to see you riding the routes of the Amgen Tour earlier this year.

This past week, a friend of mine suffered similar injuries. He's now being kept in a coma, and it will be awhile before we know if and how far he'll recover.

I've told all of his family and friends about your story, and keep it in my mind to give me hope.

Keep riding, and thank you.

Many congrats on your Raisin Hope Ride. I know the money raised will help many. I have MS and was brought into the cycling world after my diagnoses. I too ride for the CURE every year. Now that I know of your ride, hopefully I can be there next year. My prayers are with you on this journey. It is great to know that others strive to overcome for those that can't.
Enjoy the new life ahead of you with Aleez and may the wind always be at your back...
