Hey Saul,
It was great to see you at your book signing the other night. After today, I have no doubt that you will win the Tour de France if that is something that continues to fuel your passion. Can you imagine how bad you would have beat all of the other racers today if you could have been training like they were all year instead of fighting for your life in a hospital bed? You are going to be one of the best cyclists ever, and you are already one of the most inspirational people of all time.

Great job today, even though you didn\'t win the race, you did win the biggest comeback in life when the doctors told you it was over. Congradulations!!!!! I watched it live on- line even though the live coverage was very broken up and choppy. I was there in spirit with you. I was crying with you at the end, you were obviously very emotional and for a good reason. You are the best.

GOOD JOB SAUL.
You are the champion.
Celebration of Life
God Bless
And keep LIVEing STRONG

ps- Thanks for autographing your team card for the kid named Kody at your book signing on Wed. I gave him that yesterday at PT along with one of your raisin hope braclets and he was very excited. He was the 12 year old boy I was telling you about, that had a stroke and has had several brain surgeries as well. So he is now wearing one of your braclet\'s also.
ROCK ON YOU SUPERSTAR!

Hey Saul,
It was great seeing you last night at the bike shop, I was the lady wearing your Celebration of life T-shirt. Thanks for autographing your book for me last night. I can't believe how good you look. I don't know you all that well but I have talked with you at three different events, and I can see changes myself. When I first meet you at the Sandy Springs race your eyes did not have the sparkle that they had last night. You really do have a good sparkle back in your eyes. You look great. Keep up the hard training and shop for the stars and of course the yellow jersey in the end. I will be there in spirit with you at the TT this week end in S. Carolina. Even if you don't win this week end, you have won the biggest race of your life by just riding the bike. Ride On. Raise hell. And shoot for the Star's and Stripes this weekend.
I will be there in spirit with you this weekend as you race the come back of your life.
I wish you GOD SPEED this weekend.
God Bless
Forever in Bliss

Hi Saul,
I was back in GA visiting my Mom last week. I thought about the rides we did on those backroads and thought about how far you've come. Have a great race at the TT championships and really savor what it means that you are back!
Sherry and I are moving to Portland OR in October.
Good luck,

Saul, my son Ted was in a cycling accident 3 weeks ago and suffered serious head trauma, much like youself. We're reading your book and gaining strength from it knowing what's ahead of us.
All this aside, we wish you much success this coming weekend at the US Pros and know that we'll keep Ted updated on your efforts as I know he's one of your many fans. His favorite quote is:
"Ride every day as if it were your last. Ride in the sun as if it will never rise again. Attack that hill as if it will attack you back. Live life as if you were the only one with a life to live. Most importantly BE YOU."

Much success young man.

Saul, my son ordered your book to read and I actually got it and read it first. Your story touched me in so manay ways.My son is also a mountain bike rider and acutally races in the Maxis series this year. He knows to fullfill his dreams he has got to get on the road more and yes that does scare me a bit. After reading your story it did help me realize that I can not hold him back for what might be. Being there and seeing him come thru that finish line is a feeling that only a mother and father of a cyclist can begin to understand. We all know that God has a purpose for each of us, and if your purpose was not be be a pro cyclist in the future it is to that God gives the power to those to make miraciles happen.. May God Bless your and your Family.

I just finished your book, too. It is bravely written. Your self awareness (sometimes after the fact) and self-disclosure are admirable. My son Anthony is an aspriring para-cyclist, working with your friend and coach, JimLehman. We will be rooting for you!
